BUFALO

Un altro lavoro terminato!

Mi sono divertita molto a realizzare questo teschio di bufalo perchè ho sperimentato per la prima volta l'uso di sgorbia e scalpello . Da una vecchia tavola rotta ho creato la testa e sono andata a lavorarla sui vari strati di cui è composto lo skate, poi ho creato le corna utilizzando del legno multistrato lavorandolo prima con una levigatrice a nastro e poi rifinendolo a mano. Il teschio è stato infine dipinto a mano.

I enjoyed it a lot to make this buffalo skull because I experienced for the first time use of gouge and chisel. From an old broken board I created the head of bufalo, i worked it on the various layers that compose the skate, then I created the horns using a multilayer wood  worked it with a belt sander and then by hand. The skull was finally hand painted.
